Q. Where do you hale from?
Dorset, but I now live in Kingsbridge.
Q. What is your speciality in the kitchen?
I love cooking over charcoal most of all but I also love cooking a shoulder of pork for 24 hours in the Aga
Q. If you had to choose a ‘last supper’, what would it be?
Without doubt Rib of Beef (ideally the whole rib that would take me a few days to finish…..)
Q. What is your favourite thing to do in Dartmouth?
Sailing of course!
Q. Who inspired you to cook?
Both of my grandmothers were amazing cooks as are my parents, particularly my father so I think it is probably in the blood.
Q. How big is the biggest fish you’ve caught?
I once caught a 5lb Sea Bass just outside Salcombe. One of my greatest achievements that has never been repeated!
Q. We all know we should eat sustainably, with that in mind what dish would you recommend for October?
Crumble with apples from our garden and blackberries from the hedgerows.
Q. What are you looking forward to most at the Dartmouth Food Festival this year?
Eating a great deal of really delicious food produced by great people with interesting stories.
