DART THE DART RUN

Along the way up to 400 runners will sample various culinary delights and take on board liquid refreshments at a host of different venues, all whilst wearing fancy dress.

This run is designed to be purely for fun and and to raise vital funds for the Dartmouth Food Festival 2020.  It is most certainly not a race.  The distance is around 13 miles or so and will be tough in places but the views and scenery will be spectacular and the camaraderie and support will make it all worth it!!

EVENT INFORMATION

You will be asked to predict your run time.  Remember to factor in the time you will spend stopping at the food and drink stops along the route.  Your predicted run time will determine your start time so slower runners will be given a head start. If you plan to run with a group of friends, you will all need to enter the same predicted run time.  Please do not deliberately overestimate/underestimate your predicted time to get an earlier/later start time as this will adversely affect the smooth running of the event.

NB.  Please also read the Event Rules below very carefully before entering.

Prizes:

The Dart The Dart Run is not a timed event so being first over the finish line won't win you a prize!  Instead, prizes will be awarded for the Best Fancy Dress.  All finishers will receive a goody bag.

Spectators:

Spectators are very welcome and indeed encouraged!  We're aiming for a festival feel all the way around the course and spectators will play a huge part.

At The Start:

Join us at Totnes Steamer Quay from 08:00am- 11:00am.  Cheer on the runners in their fancy dress whilst relaxing with a coffee or breakfast at the Riverside cafe

On The Route:

All of the hotels, pubs and cafes along the route will be open to the public and make great spectator spots.  Pop in for a drink or a bite to eat and raise a glass to the runners as they pass by!  Full details of all sponsors to follow.

In Dartmouth:

Join us in Coronation Park in Dartmouth to welcome runners at the finish between 12:00pm to 16:00pm where we will be holding a mini Food Festival so that you can taste a wonderful sample of locally produced food from some of our best Food Festival exhibitors.

There will a Dartmouth Mayflower 400 stand so you can find out all the latest events and activities for the 2020 commemorations.

The Dartmouth Music Festival also takes place this weekend so you can venture on into the town to enjoy a wide range of music, whether you need to relax and unwind or just get boogying!
