Are you a food passionista? Do you have amazing organisation skills?
If yes, then please get involved in some way as we'd love your help. The Dartmouth Food Festival is run by a committee of people dedicated to promoting the quality of the food and drink in the area. We're not a charity so survive on sponsorship from local businesses and from people like you – who love Dartmouth and want to shout to the high heavens about how great a foodie experience it is. There are several different levels of support...
Sponsor
This is aimed at local businesses who want to benefit from the festival's profile, both locally and nationally. As a result of the 2011 PR campaign, the food festival received a great deal of national and local press coverage including The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian, Devon Life, BBC Spotlight and BBC Radio Devon. As this is our 10th anniversary year, we've already generated a considerable amount of national coverage (Telegraph Magazine, Metro newspaper, Guardian, Food & Travel Magazine, Coast Magazine) and anticipate a great deal more especially in light of all the celebrity chefs involved (Tom Parker Bowles, Matthew Fort, Giles Coren and Henry Dimbleby, to name but a few). Although it's a little late for this year, it's worth getting in touch now for 2013 sponsorship opportunities and we'll ensure you're part of the lead up press campaign being organised by Badger PR and Laura Cowan PR (on behalf of Mitch Tonks). Patron
This is an annual membership to the Dartmouth Food Festival, aimed at individuals and small businesses. You'll get a regular e-newsletter, a personal invite to the Patron & Sponsor Reception and priority booking on all evening events. And best of all, you can gift it to a friend or partner... now there's a present for the man or woman who has everything. And all for a minimum contribution of £30 per year for individual membership, £50 for a couple or £60 per business patron. Interested? Volunteer
We'd be lost without them but as we get bigger and better, we need more hands making light work. We meet once a month, pool our skills and generally keep a multitude of plates spinning. The key criteria is a passion for Dartmouth and its foodie excellence but if you have any amazing food and drink contacts in the area, then even better! As volunteers, there's obviously no payment for all your hours of hard work but you will get an invite to the Supporters' Reception, priority booking on all evening events and a lot of gratitude from your fellow committee members.
